Sabancı University is preparing to host the Play and Learn Festival, which combines fun and learning for children. Organized within the scope of a research project supported by TÜBİTAK and with all necessary ethical approvals, the festival will be held on May 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00.
The event will include research activities, educational science and art games, and fun outdoor activities. Activities that support children’s learning through exploration will also be open to family participation. The festival is further enriched by the active contributions of Sabancı University students involved in PROJ 201 and PURE. Through their participation, students support the preparation and implementation of the activities, contributing to a valuable university–community engagement experience.
Turkish-speaking children aged 4–6 can participate in the Edutainment Study and receive a small creative gift. Parents need to complete an online survey for their children to participate in this study and receive free tickets to the festival. Participation is free, but tickets are limited, so registration will close once the required number of participants has been reached.
All other children, including children of other ages and non-Turkish-speaking children, are welcome too. They can participate in Master Classes, Toy Library, Train Land, Imagery Play Theatre, and Outside Play activities. Please contact imageryplay@sabanciuniv.edu if you have any questions.
